For the longest time I thought self-harm was just something like cutting. I didn't think what I was doing was self-harm, but it was. I didn't take care of my body for the longest and in some ways, I still don't. Not grooming myself or not nurturing my mind harmed me in ways that still affect me today and may affect me for years. I don't what got me out of my depression or maybe I am not out of it, but I am doing better. I also wonder if the T.V. shows and Youtube videos I consume also count as self-harm. Thoughts?
